About
I am an independent video journalist and documentary filmmaker. I recently graduated from Temple University’s Klein College of Media & Communications with a BA in Journalism.
During my time at Temple, I have had the opportunity to work in different positions in student media, from a reporter and photographer for The Temple News newspaper, to recording on-air weekly news updates and co-hosting Rational Radio on Temple’s WHIP radio station.
For two years, I worked on Temple Update, the weekly half hour news television show. There, I was able to fill many roles from editor to script writer, to live shot producer, camera operator, and I produced packages.
During my time with Update, I covered a wide range of stories from politics to sports to crime. A story I contributed to, about a home invasion on Temple’s campus that made national news, won a year-end MSP award. Another highlight was producing and reporting on a package for the 2022 World Cup final.
This experience helped me secure an internship with WHYY in their video department. At WHYY, I was able to assist on shoots, run the teleprompter for various shows and logged footage.
